THIS WEEKEND! Open House for Prospective Students – The Spring Open House for Prospective Students will take place THIS WEEKEND following the Parish/School Mass and Coffee Hour on Sunday, May 19, from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM. If you know of someone who is interested in a St. Chris education for their child, this is a GREAT opportunity for them to stop in and take a look around! Our knowledgeable tour guides will show visitors around the school, and Mrs. Clarke and many teachers will be available to answer any questions. Parents are also welcome to escort any friends or family who are interested in attending the school…and give them the inside scoop on all things St. Chris! Pre-registration is not required for the Open House and it is on a drop-on basis, but parents are welcome to call Jackie Langenfeld for more information at 882-7442, ext. 114.
THIS WEEK! Are you on Facebook? We are promoting our Open House on Facebook this week through ads, events, and posts! Personal recommendations are a key way that we gain new students, so please share our ads on your page or on any community group pages you belong to!
NEW! Grade 3-6 Concert Repeat – Due to a calendar mistake, some parents missed a portion of the grade 3-6 Spring Concert this week. For those who missed it, we will be presenting the concert again on Monday, May 20 at 9:30 AM. Students in grades PreK to grade 2 will also be watching the show, so we respectfully ask that only parents who missed the original show attend. Thanks!
Private Tours – Know someone who can’t make the May 19 Open House? We love giving private tours to any family interested in joining the St. Chris community! Private tours can be scheduled for most any time the school is open and we LOVE to have prospective students visit us for a Shadow Day in the classroom! To arrange, please have the prospective families call Jackie at 882-774, ext. 114.
NEW! Morning Drop-Off – It appears that the Nashua police have begun to more strictly enforce the no parking zone in front of the school at the request of a neighbor, particularly during the morning drop-off time. We recommend that parents do not park along the school side of Cushing Ave for drop off no earlier than 8:20, 10 minutes prior to the doors opening at 8:30. If you choose to park earlier, you may risk receiving a citation from the police.
NEW! Field Day -- The always fun Field Day is coming soon! On the afternoon of May 24, all of our students will be walking over to Sargent Ave Park for the Field Day events. We’ll need lots and lots and lots of volunteers to make the event a success! Volunteers are needed both for preparation in the morning and to run the event in the afternoon. We are also in need of tents and coolers. To volunteer or loan your tent and/or cooler for the day, please visit the Sign Up Genius HERE!
Lunch will be served earlier than usual on Field Day to be sure everyone is finished in time for the big events! Students in each grade are asked to wear shorts and a shirt in a specified color:
-
- PreK – Yellow
- Kdg – Purple
- Grade 1 – Green
- Grade 2 – White
- Grade 3 – Orange
- Grade 4 – Blue
- Grade 5 – Gray
