NEW! Summer Office Hours – During the summer, the school office will be open Monday through Thursday from 8:30-11:30 AM. Please come to the front door and ring the bell as usual and someone will let you in the building and meet you downstairs! We will also be closed during the week of July 1-5.
Tuition Agreements Overdue – Tuition Agreements for the 2019-2020 school year are now overdue. Please return them to Mrs. Abucewicz as soon possible!

NEW! PreKindergarten and Kindergarten Playground Play Dates – August is Playground Play Date month for our PreKindergarten and Kindergarten students! All children entering PreKindergarten and Kindergarten are welcome to stop by the playground on the 1st four Mondays in August (5, 12, 19, and 26) from 9:00 – 10:00 AM. This is a great time for the kids…and parents (!)….to make important connections with friends before the school year begins! Please join us!

NEW! Final School Mass – Please join us next Thursday, June 13 at 9:15 AM as we give thanks for the wonderful school year that is ending and the summer that is just beginning! 5G is preparing the mass.
NEW! Tape, Posterboard, and Sharpies – We are close to filling the wish list for Mary Gate of Heaven Orphanage in Haiti, but we still need some rolls of scotch tape, packing tape, posterboard, and a few Sharpies. Can you pitch in an item or two? Please see the SignUp Genius HERE for specific details. The Sisters of Holy Cross and volunteers extend their gratitude and prayers for Saint Christopher School. Many thanks to the families who have donated! Please bring your items to the front desk by this Friday (June 7th).
Cross Country Sign-Ups – Cross Country sign-ups for Fall 2019 are now open! The program is open for students in grades 2 – 5 in the Fall (Grade 6 runs with Nashua Catholic Jr. High School). Practices are held two afternoons after school each week starting the first week of school (and hence the early sign-ups!). The team is currently limited to 75 runners for safety sake, but may be expanded with additional parent coaches. Cost is $35 per runner or $60 for families. Fall Back to School Dates -- And just as we’re finishing up this year, we start looking ahead to NEXT year! As you look at the dates below for the start of school, you’ll notice that we have a little different schedule for the first few days. While our Meet the Teacher date is before Labor Day, school will actually officially begin with ALL students reporting for the opening day on September 3. This is the Tuesday following Labor Day. This schedule change was mandated by the Diocese of Manchester Catholic Schools office and will be the same throughout all Catholic schools is NH. We hope you enjoy the extra few days of summer vacation!

Fr. David to Receive Diocesan Award – We are excited to announce that Fr. David will be receiving the Clergy of the Year Award at the upcoming Diocese of Manchester’s Excellence in Education Gala! This award recognizes Fr. David for the impact his deep faith, combined with his boundless energy and desire to share his love of the Lord and the Catholic Church, has had on our school. The award will be presented at the Gala on June 20 at the Grappone Center in Concord. Congratulations to Fr. David!
Congratulations also go to Mrs. Cindy Clarke, who was nominated for The Spirit of St. Elizabeth Seton Award NH Catholic School Leader of the Year award and Miss Karen Narkis, who was nominated for The Spirit of St. John Baptist de la Salle NH Catholic School Teacher of the Year award.
Band/Fiddle for 2019-2020 -- Band Director David Bailey and Fiddle Squad Director Alison Bailey invite all students who will be in grades 3-6 in the Fall to consider joining Band and/or Fiddle Squad! Music is a fun and exciting way for students to expand their academic experience, make new friends, and build self-esteem (among MANY other benefits!). Vacation Bible School!!! St. Christopher Parish’s popular Vacation Bible School (VBS) with run from July 29-August 2, 2019! This year’s theme is ROAR! 2019: Life is Wild ~ God is Good. Registration forms are included in this week’s paper News ! Children ages 4 (entering pre-K) to Grade 5 are invited to come join us for a GRRReat time at Vacation Bible School this summer! We will travel to the African Savannah, a safari into the Bible, where we will sing, dance, create and play as we learn that even when our life gets WILD, God is always good! And we Trust in Him!
