NEW! Thank you – Many thanks to our teachers and their families who worked over the weekend to get our buildings into final tip-top shape!

NEW! Amended Drop-off Instructions – We are working to make the drop-off procedures at both campuses faster and easier for all….but please be flexible and patient as we work through the kinks! Please know that we understand the drop-off is longer than usual, but we are working hard to keep our students safe and avoid any illness before it enters the building. We will keep evaluating and amending the process as needed and will update parents with any changes.
General Notes for both campuses:
-
- Students should be ready to exit the car when you pull up to the designated drop-off points. Masks should be on and backpacks should be closed and within the student’s reach.
-
- Temperatures will be taken as children exit the car. Please do not have your student exit the car prior to reaching the teacher(s) who are taking student temperatures. Taking temperatures at the car allows us to send a student who has a temperature home before he or she enters the building.
-
- Do NOT pull up across the street from either building and have your child cross the street. All students must be released on the school side of the street for their safety.
Lower Campus: Please see the map below for routes. (Click map for larger pdf)
Prekindergaten – Prekindergarten parents should pull in to the upper parish parking lot using the entrance closest to the Fine Arts Center. A teacher will be stationed in the lot to take your student’s temperature. Please form a car line starting where the teacher is located. If your child is unable to exit the car by him or herself, please exit your car and help the student. Parents may also park in the lot behind the barn/Pennell Center and walk students over to have their temperature taken.
Grades Kindergarten to 2 – Parents should approach the lower campus coming down Brookline Street from Gordon Street. Please pull into the back parking lot using the entrance closest to the dumpster, pull around the lot to the top of the stairs where teachers will take students temperatures. Once your student has left the car, proceed out the exit closest to the building and proceed down Hill St. away from the building.
Grades 3 to 6 – Parents should form a line along the school side of Cushing Ave. and around the corner onto Manchester St. Please pull up to the teachers taking students’ temperatures before allowing your child to exit the car. Once your child has exited, please travel down Cushing Ave away from the school
Upper Campus: Please see the map below for route. (Click map for larger pdf)
- Grades 7 & 8 -- From Concord St., parents should drive up Columbia Ave. to Wellington St. and make a right. From Wellington, please take a right onto Bartlett St. going towards the school. Faculty members will be taking student temperatures on Bartlett St. at the far end of the school, so do not allow your child to exit the car until you pull up to the temperature taking spot. Students will still enter the school through the cafeteria doors, not the front door.
NEW! Lower Campus Dismissal: As per our email earlier this week, please follow the following instructions for dismissals at the lower campus:
- Prekindergarten: Parents should park in the parking lot to the far side of the barn and walk over to the Fine Arts Center to pick up their child. Please wear a mask and socially distance as much as possible. Dismissal is at 2:40 PM.
- Kindergarten: Parents should park in the back parking lot behind the school. Please back into spaces in the lot. Parents should then exit their car and meet their student at the top of the stairs. Please wear a mask and socially distance as much as possible. Dismissal is at 2:45 PM.
- Bus: Bus students will remain in the school until the bus arrives. Please note that the bus may be later than normal for the first few days of school.
- Outside Nashua: Students who live outside the city of Nashua will be dismissed by grade level to the back parking lot behind the school, starting at 3:00 PM. Parents should back into the spaces in the back parking lot, exit their car, and meet students at the top of the stairs. Please wear a mask and socially distance as much as possible. Note: We will be dismissing students by grade level groupings to allow time and space to exit while being socially distance. This may take longer than usual.
- Nashua Riders: Students who live inside the city of Nashua will be dismissed by grade level to the upper parish parking lot by the church, starting at 3:00 PM. Parents should exit their car and meet students by the stone patio at the rectory entrance. Please wear a mask and socially distance as much as possible. Note: We will be dismissing students by grade level groupings to allow time and space to exit while being socially distance. This may take longer than usual.
- After Care: Students will be escorted to After Care after all other students are dismissed. Parents are reminded that they should wear a mask when coming to the After Care door.

Red Brick Backorders - We understand that Red Brick is backordered on some uniform items. Students who are missing uniform pieces are welcome to substitute the appropriate gym uniform piece (for instance, if a girl is missing a skort, she may wear her gym shorts or if a student is missing a new logoed shirt, he may substitute the gym t-shirt) until Red Brick notifies us that back orders have been filled.
THIS WEEK! Labor Day Weekend - We will have THIS Friday, September 4 and Monday, September 7 off for Labor Day weekend!
THIS WEEK! New Parent Orientation - New parent Orientation will be held virtually at 7:00 PM on THIS Thursday, September 3. An invitation with the Orientation session link will be sent in a separate email to new parents.
NEW! Mass with Bishop Libasci – Bishop Libasci will be celebrating mass tomorrow, September 3 at 10:00 AM with our 5th and 6th grade students. Unfortunately, due to COVID restrictions, we can not have additional students attend. However, the mass will be livestreamed on the St. Christopher Parish website for other classes and parents to watch. Please join the Bishop at 10:00 AM HERE!
NEW! Attendance – Just a reminder that if a student is going to be out of school for the day, whether from illness or appointment, you must notify the school by 9:00 AM that day. You may call the school at 603-882-7442 and leave a message for either campus OR send an email to [email protected] for the lower campus and [email protected] for the upper campus. The email can also be accessed by clicking on the “Attendance” button on the respective campus’s website. If a student is not in school by 9:00 AM and we have NOT heard from a parent, we will be calling to doublecheck on the student’s welfare. This is to ensure that all our students are safely where they should be!
NEW! After School Student Pick-up Schedule Changes – We know that in this crazy world a parent’s plans can change without warning! If your wild day necessitates a sudden change in where your child should go after school (After Care, Linda Rousseau’s, carpool pick-up, etc.) or who will pick up (mom, dad, grandma, family friend, etc.), we must be informed by a PHONE CALL (882-7442)! Please do not rely on emailing teachers or the office personnel at either campus as they may not be able to check their email until after school is over. With a quick phone call, you can be assured that the front desk will let your child know about the change in plans as soon as possible.
Before and After Care - Extended Day programs will begin on both campuses on the first day of school, September 1. Before Care will open at 6:30 AM and After Care is available until 6:00 PM. All lower campus Before and After Care programs will take place in the Church Hall, so Before Care children should enter through those doors. Upper campus students should enter through the cafeteria doors at the rear of the school.
As a result of our transition to Saint Christopher Academy, we have simplified our Extended Care billing. Extended Care will be provided on a drop-in basis only, so students do not need to register ahead. This allows us to do online billing through our new Student Information System, which will also simplify the payment of fees for our parents! Please see information about the new fee structure HERE.

NEW! Raffle Calendar Fundraiser –It’s calendar time again…and we have some GREAT prizes this year, including gift cards to fabulous stores and lots of CASH! Oldest and only students at each campus will be sent home tomorrow with 10 calendar raffle tickets per family. Each ticket is $10. As in the past, for every 10 raffle tickets your family sells, you will earn one entry into a raffle for a $1,500 Tuition Credit or $1,000 Cash!
