December and January Calendar Notes --
- THIS WEEK! Our last day of school before Christmas vacation will be THIS Friday, December 17.
- Our first day back to school after Christmas vacation will be Monday, January 3.
- Our original calendar listed Friday, January 7 as a no After Care day so that teachers and staff could enjoy their holiday party. Due to scheduling difficulties with the venue, the date has been changed to Thursday, January 6. Therefore, there will be NO AFTER CARE on Thursday January 6. Thank you!
- We will have NO school on Monday, January 17 in observance of Martin Luther King Jr Day.
THIS WEEK! Christmas Free Dress -- Ho-Ho-Ho...both campuses will have a Christmas Free Dress THIS Friday, December 17! Students can wear their most festive red, white, and green for the day. Please be sure your student follows the dress code for Free Dress days:
THIS WEEK! Christmas Crafternoon - Lower campus students have a fun afternoon coming up on Friday, December 17! All classes will participate in Christmas Crafternoon starting around 1:00 PM. Serenaded by Christmas music over the intercom, students will be crafting a special gift for their families, along with eating a holiday treat or two
TODAY! Hot Lunch Ordering - Online ordering for January’s Hot Lunch is open through midnight TONIGHT! No late orders will be accepted, so order today before the Christmas craziness sets in! Note: Ordering for February’s Hot Lunch will open on January 1st, while we are on Christmas vacation!
Annual Fund - Thank you to all those who have already responded to our Annual Fund with a gift! Our current donation total is $20,411! All gifts to the Annual Fund stay here at Saint Chris and directly benefit our students through advanced academics, updated technology and facilities, financial aid, and other important programs. In addition, because the cost of educating our students exceeds our tuition, EVERY Saint Christopher Academy student receives discounted tuition supported by our fundraising efforts.
Our goal for the Annual Fund is 100% participation from current families, faculty and staff, and School Board members, with $50,000 as our financial goal. When you receive your letter, we ask you to support our mission to provide an excellent Catholic education to all students at Saint Christopher Academy by donating at the level your family is most comfortable. All donations, no matter the size, are MOST appreciated. To donate online, please click HERE. Thank you!
Snow Days! The snow will be flying soon, so we want to remind everyone of how they will be informed of a snow day! Parents will receive a robocall and text message, as well as an email. In addition, any closures or delays will be posted on WMUR Channel 9 and 95.7 WZID, as well as the school Facebook page and Instagram.
Please note that our notification system is not foolproof….power and internet outages may interfere with delivery of the text messages and emails and we will post the information as soon as we are able. Thank you for your understanding!
Delayed Openings - Delayed openings are 2 hours. When there is a delayed opening, there is no school for the AM Pre-K. Paid Before Care will take place on both campuses starting at 8:30 AM.
