NEW! Thank You - Thank you to all those who have extended their sympathy for the recent passing of pre-k aide Nancy Garceau. The words shared on social media, in emails, and in cards have been so kind and caring. We’d especially like to thank Bishop Guertin for the flowers and the Haughton family for the coffee, donuts, and muffins for the staff and faculty.

Family BBQ is BACK! We are beyond excited to announce that we are making plans for our Annual Family BBQ!! After a two year COVID hiatus, we have scheduled this amazingly fun FREE evening celebration from 5:30 - 7:00 PM on June 3rd in the lower campus back parking lot. All families from both campuses are invited to come by for food, fellowship, and maybe a little dancing!

We are most thankful that our veteran parent organizers are willing to step up to put this event together again this year…and are hoping to bring some new friends into the fold to help and to learn the ropes! If you love to throw a good party, please contact Marta at [email protected] for more information!

NEW! O’Connor Studios Communications – O'Connor Studios can only use one email address per student for its yearbook and portrait communications.  Their messages are automatically sent to the parent designated by you as "Parent 1" when you first enrolled at Saint Chris.  For some families this is mom and for others it is dad.  Please check all email accounts (and any spam or junk folders) for messages from O'Connor, and keep in mind that you will need to look back to that account for future communications from them as well.  Thank you!

Note: If you have more than one student, you must place separate yearbook or portrait orders and use each student's unique password sent by O'Connor Studios.  Please contact Carol Fiore at [email protected] if you have any questions about O’Connor Studios, Spring Portraits, and the yearbook.

UPDATED! Spring Portraits- O’Connor Studios will return on Wednesday, March 9 for Spring Portraits for lower campus students only. (Upper campus students will not be having Spring Portraits taken this year.)  This is a Dress UP Day…lower campus students should wear their “Easter finest” instead of their uniforms! This is a one-time event, so there will be no retakes for absent students. Information about the portraits was recently sent via email to parents.

NEW! Yearbook Orders - Families also received information from O’Connor Studios last week regarding yearbook orders. Our annual yearbook is a  wonderful way to remember the year at Saint Chris and includes portraits of all students, pre-k to grade 8, as well as photos of teams and other extracurricular groups and tons and tons of candids of everyone! Yearbooks and supplemental items (ads, personal messages, family sponsorships, etc.) MUST be ordered by March 8th using the personalized link sent to parents from O’Connor Studios. No late orders can be accepted after March 8, so order today!

NEXT WEEK February No School Days - Don’t forget….our February vacation is next week, February 28 to March 4!

March No School Day - And looking ahead to next month…..there will also be NO school on March 18 so teachers can participate in the Diocesan professional development being offered that day.

STEM Day Speakers - Are you in a STEM field? Would you like to share your love of or experience in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math? We have begun planning for this year’s STEM Day, to be held on May 24. We are looking for speakers to virtually present to students about their interest and/or careers in any STEM-related field, whether as a professional or hobbyist. Presentations will be approximately 20-30 minutes in length. If you are interested in speaking, please email Carol Fiore at [email protected].

NEW! Hot Lunch Ordering - Ordering for April Hot Lunch opens on March 1st, while we are on vacation, and runs through midnight on March 15 on Boonli.com. Please note that some days will have a choice of meals. We cannot accept late orders, so please be sure to order early!
