Beauty and the Beast

 

Drama Club Production of Beauty and the Beast, Jr. - The award-winning animated film Beauty and the Beast comes to life in this beloved take on the classic fairytale in our Drama Club's upcoming production on Friday, April 12 at 7:00 pm and Saturday, April 13 at 2:00 pm at the upper campus gym. Drama Club students in grades 3 to 8 have been working hard to prepare this amazing show and can't wait to share it with you! 

Online Tickets - Tickets for both performances of Beauty and the Beast, Jr. can be pre-purchased online HERE. Ticket options include:

  • Adult Tickets - $10
  • Students, aged 5-15 - $5 (under 5 free)
  • Family, including 5+ in the same family - $35
  • Multi-performance ticket for one adult - $12

 

IMPORTANT - You will receive an emailed receipt for the purchase of any online ticket purchase. THIS IS YOUR TICKET and must be presented for admission, either on your phone or in a printed copy. 

 

At The Door Tickets - Tickets will also be available at the door on a cash only basis. Please note that we are unable to sell multi-performance tickets at the door. If  you will be attending both performances, please purchase tickets online to receive the discounted price.

 

NEW! Trivia Night - After a very successful first event, our next Trivia Night for grades 5 to 8 will take place on May 3rd from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM in the church hall! Everyone from grade 5 5 to 8 are welcome to attend. Bring your own snacks and drinks!

 

NEW! Lower Campus Security Reminder - Please remember that all lower campus parents must stop at the front desk and sign in before proceeding to a classroom. Parents should not walk their children to classrooms or deliver items to classrooms without a pass. It is imperative that all parents follow this rule for security reasons with NO exceptions at all times during the day, including drop-off. Thank you for your cooperation. 

 

NEW! Grade 8 Field Trip - All 8th grade students will travel to Concord, NH on Friday, April 12 for a Hispanic Flamenco Ballet. All students should bring a bag lunch from home as they will not return in time for hot lunch at school. 

 

NEW! Lower Campus Library News - Birthday Books - If you would like to purchase a birthday book for your student this year, please send Mrs. Noon an email or a note by April 19th to allow plenty of time for the book to be delivered and processed. If you have more than one student, feel free to get their birthday books at the same time! For more information on the birthday book program find it HERE. We have added over 50 new books to the library this year, thanks to our families donating to the Birthday Book Program. Thank you for your generosity! 

 

Lower Campus Forgotten Lunch Reminder - Please do not rely on our bagel and cream cheese “forgotten lunch” as a bagged lunch from home replacement. The forgotten lunch is ONLY for those students who get to school and discover that they are not on the Hot Lunch list for the day. All parents are expected to provide a bagged lunch from home for their child if he/she did not order Hot Lunch for the day. Parents will be billed $3.50 for the forgotten lunch through Boonli. Students who repeatedly ask for a forgotten lunch will be asked to call home and have a parent bring a lunch to school rather than receiving a forgotten lunch. Thanks for your help with this!

 

NEXT WEEK! Parent Group Meeting - Our Parent Group will meet NEXT Thursday, April 11 at 6:30 PM at the upper campus to plan two important upcoming events….the Teacher Appreciation Lunch on Tuesday, May 7 and our school-wide BBQ on Friday, May 24. We are in need of many volunteers to make each event a success…please join us!

 

Vocation Day SignUp Genius - Our Vocation Day on April 16 is fast approaching! For the 32nd consecutive year, we will welcome priests, nuns, brothers, deacons, and lay people to both campuses to discuss their religious vocations.  The morning will start with masses on both campuses followed by a brunch for our honored guests. Students will participate in mini-sessions with our guest speakers. Later, the lower campus will complete a special craft. We are in special need of help with the morning brunch for our guests…please see the SignUp Genius HERE to see how you can help!

 

FINAL Hot Lunch Ordering Hot Lunch ordering for May is OPEN on Boonli.com through April 15. Hot Lunch will end on Friday, May 31 on both campuses. This is the last Hot Lunch ordering period for the school year! As of Monday, June 3rd, all students on both campuses must bring a bag lunch through the end of the year!

 

Lower Campus After Care Phone Number - Parents who use the lower campus After Care program are reminded that they can contact the After Care staff directly after school hours at 603-438-4735.

 

Earth Day Free Dress - On Friday, April 19, we will mark Earth Day with a Free Dress Day on both campuses! Students must follow our Free Dress guidelines. Note: This is an Early Release Day…see below!

 

NEW! Lower Campus Poetry Slam - Friday morning, April 19, all lower campus students will gather in the church hall for our annual Poetry Slam under the direction of Mrs. Ternan. Students in every class have created their poetry and teachers have selected two students to read their creation in front of the school. The program begins at 9:15 AM. Parents are welcome to attend!

 

April Vacation - April vacation will be here before you know it! Vacation begins with an Early Release Day on Friday, April 19. The upper campus will release at 11:30 AM and the lower campus will release at noon. Vacation runs through the following week, April 22 to 26.

 

End of the Year Dates - The end of the school year may seem like a long way away, but it will come quickly!  We have scheduled the following important dates and events:

 

Friday, May 24

  • Family BBQ at the upper campus (all current families invited!)

 

Wednesday, June 5

  • 8th Grade last day of school - 8th grade released at 11:30 AM
  • 5:00 PM –  8th grade Baccalaureate Mass at St. Christopher Parish (graduate and two parents only)
  • 6:30 PM - 8th grade dinner at the upper campus (graduate and two parents only)

 

Friday, June 7

  • 7:00 PM - 8th grade Graduation at the upper campus

 

Tuesday, June 11

  • Grade 5 last day of school - 5th grade released at noon
  • 5:30 PM - 5th grade Convocation at upper campus (students gather at lower campus at 4:40 PM)

 

Wednesday , June 12

  • Early Release and final day of school for grades PreK to 4, 6 & 7

 

 

NEXT WEEK! Lower Campus Chess Club - The next session of the lower campus Chess Club will be NEXT Monday, April 8 because Easter Monday falls on April 1.

 

Hannaford Helps Schools - It’s time again for the annual Hannaford Helps Schools program! If you are a Hannafords shopper, please consider participating in the program to benefit the school! For more information on how to participate, click HERE. The program runs through June 1st.

 

Upper Campus Track & Field Help Wanted – We are looking for some additional assistance with our upper campus track & field team. We are looking for some additional help with throwing and jumping events. Specifically, long jump, high jump, shotput, and discus. Anybody interested in helping out, and with experience in these events, is strongly encouraged to email Mr. Farris at [email protected].

 

Upper Campus Golf Coach – Spring is coming and before we know it, our Wildcat golfers will be hitting the local courses for some competitive golf. The upper campus is in need of a golf coach for this spring season. This is a paid stipend position. Previous golf coaching experience is preferred, but not required. STEM Day Speakers - Are you in a STEM field? Would you like to share your love of or experience in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math? We have begun planning for this year’s STEM Day, to be held on May 16. We are looking for speakers to present to students about their interest and/or careers in any STEM-related field, whether as a professional or hobbyist.
