Fine Arts Festival Thanks - So much appreciation to share to Mrs. Fessenden and Mr. Quigley for their work in coordinating the Fine Arts Festival last week! It was such a wonderful way to highlight our students’ musical and artistic talents!
Animation Club Thanks - Our first-ever Animation Club has finished its meetings for the year and we’d like to thank volunteer parent Mallory Gray for leading the group and to Ms. Foran for her technical assistance! The students met monthly since December and created some amazing animated art!
NEW! Honor Society Congratulations! Congratulations to the fifteen grade students who were inducted into the National Junior Honor Society last night! NEW! Faculty Retirement - Mrs. Lisa Brown, beloved kindergarten teacher, has announced her retirement at the end of this year. Mrs. Brown has been a wonderful member of our Saint Chris faculty since 2008 and will sincerely be missed! We wish Mrs. Brown all the best in her retirement!

MONDAY! Gym Tarp Help - The last two weeks of school are busy, busy, busy in the upper campus gym! To protect the floor, we are in need of a minimum of 8 volunteers to help Mr. Farris cover the gym floor with a tarp on the morning of this coming Monday, June 3. Volunteers can be from either campus! If you can help from approximately 9:00-10:00 AM, please email Marta at [email protected]. As of today, we do not have any volunteers….Yikes! Updated! Upper Campus Math SummerSkills Book - All upper campus students (rising 6th, 7th, and 8th grade) will receive a SummerSkills math workbook before they leave for the summer, along with instructions for completing required summer math work. Each student’s workbook will be matched to his or her anticipated math class for the fall. Billing for the $20 cost of the book through FACTS Incidental Billing was completed on Tuesday, May 28. This is a savings of $1.00 over the cost of the book/shipping if a parent would order it online independently. This will also ensure that students receive the correct book! Note: Upper campus students who will be new to Saint Chris in the fall will be notified of their math placement and asked to stop by the school to pick up their book.
NEW! Nashua Bus Transportation for Fall 2024 - To be eligible for bus transportation, students must live in the City of Nashua and must be in grades kindergarten thru 8. Students at the lower campus must live at least a mile or more from the school. Upper campus students must live at least two miles or more from the school. If you anticipate that your child will be needing bus transportation in Nashua at any time in the next year, please complete the confirmation form HERE.
NEW! NEXT WEEK! Silver Knights Baseball Game – Don’t forget that all students in grades 1-6 will be attending the Silver Knights Education Day baseball game on Tuesday, June 4! If your grade 1-6 child did not purchase a ticket, her or she must stay home from school that day. All students attending the game should wear his or her gym uniform. The Silver Knights will be providing a hot dog, chips, and water for lunch. If a child has a food allergy (or just does not like hot dogs!), he or she may bring a lunch. Please be sure that all students have sunscreen on BEFORE coming to school and hats are strongly encouraged! If parents who have purchased a ticket would like to walk to the park with lower campus students, please meet in the front of the lower campus building by 9:45 am. Do not ring the bell and request to go to the classroom….homerooms will leave from the front of the school and parents are welcome to join the group as they leave! Thanks!
NEW! Summer Girls Volleyball Clinics – Volleyball clinics are open to any girl who will be entering grades 6-8 in the fall and will be taking place Tuesday nights throughout the summer months! Clinics get underway on June 18 from 4:30-6:30 PM, and will continue through August 13 (no clinic on Tuesday 7/30). Sessions will focus on skill building, serving, setting, hitting, passing, conditioning, and other volleyball specific skills, all while having a ton of fun with future classmates! NEW! Summer Boys Basketball League - It is that time of year again where we look to kick off our boys summer basketball league. This year our summer league will be hosted at the NH Sportsplex in Bedford, NH. This league is open to all boys entering grades 6-8 in the fall, but is limited to only 12 players. Priority placement will be given to players who were on varsity last year, and then to those who were on the JV team. Summer league will begin Monday, June 17 and teams will get a minimum of 10 games. The fee is $110 per player, and a game shirt is included in that price. Sign Up For Summer Basketball League Here.
Parent Survey Reminder - All parents were emailed a link to our end-of-the-year survey on Thursday, May 9. Please take the time to complete the survey…your feedback is important and of great value as we plan for the 2024-2025 school year! The survey will remain open until 11:45 pm on June 7 and is completely confidential. Each campus has a separate survey, so please refer to your May 9 email. Thank you for your help!
Summerbook Workbooks – A copy of the catalog of Summer Books was sent home last week with students in grades Pre-K through 5. Summer Books offer a 10-week summer review for students entering Kindergarten through Grade 8. Books may be ordered individually by phone, online HERE or by mail. Please do not send order forms into school. Saint Chris strongly recommends that students complete summer work in addition to summer reading assignments!
NEW! Faithful Fridays Adoration Change - For the final two weeks of school, Faithful Friday Adoration attendees will receive a lunchtime ice cream treat instead of the usual morning donuts. Yum!
MONDAY! Final Chess and Cribbage Club Dates - The chess portion of the lower campus Chess Club has finished for the year. The cribbage group will meet again on June 10. The upper campus Chess Club will meet for a final time on Monday, June 3rd. Many thanks to Tom Nardone and Amanda Morrell for coordinating the group this year!
UC Girls Summer Basketball Workouts - This summer the upper campus girls basketball program will have skills sessions on Monday nights from 5:00-7:00 pm. They will begin on June 17 and continue each Monday night throughout the summer, concluding on August 19. The only exceptions will be Monday, July 8 and August 5. The cost will be $150 for the entire summer or $25 for each individual session. Any Upper Campus girls and incoming sixth graders interested in playing next year are invited. THIS WEEK! Hot Lunch Ends - Don’t forget….Hot Lunch service ends on both campuses THIS Friday, May 31. All students must bring a lunch from home from Monday, June 3 through the end of school! There will be no “Forgotten Lunches” available at the lower campus. If a student does not bring a lunch, a parent will be called.

Grades 2-5: Feel free to check your student's library account. Click on "Login" and then go to "My Stuff" to see books that are currently checked out. To access the Destiny Online Catalog, your student's username and password are located on a label inside his or her agenda. If you need that information, please email me at [email protected]. Please have your student check backpacks, cars, home bookshelves, etc. Books have a way of hiding in plain sight!
Birthday Books – Thanks to your generosity, we had a record breaking year with over 60 new books donated to the library commemorating our students' birthdays! These books will be in the library for many years to come! Thank you for your support.

Back to School Dates - Speaking of important dates, we have some important notes about back-to-school for Fall 2025! If you are booking summer vacations or other plans, please keep these important dates in mind:
PreK and Kindergarten Playground Days - The lower campus playground will be open for all PreK and Kdg students and their parents for three Mondays in August (5, 12,and 19) from 9:00-10:00 AM. Come on down! This is a great time for the kids...and parents....to make important connections with friends before the school year begins!

- First day of school for 6th grade students ONLY. This will be a half day for 6th grade students. More details will be sent to 6th grade parents later in the summer.
- Lower campus Meet the Teacher from 9:00 - 11:00 AM. Class lists will be posted in the school lobby that day.
Tuesday, August 27 - First day of school for all students on both campuses. (2nd day of school for grade 6.) Students should be in full school uniform.
Friday, August 30 and Monday, September 2 - No School…Labor Day Weekend

Peacock Players Summer Camp - Registration for the Peacock Players Summer Theatre Camp for grades K-9 is now open! The Peacock Players is proud to provide students with theatre arts education that encourages, informs, and challenges its students.
