At Saint Christopher Academy, teachers will find a strong community of peers who love what they do and are excited to nurture our wonderful students as they grow into lifelong learners and leaders. Teachers at Saint Chris plan, prepare, and deliver instructional activities, observe and evaluate student performance in accordance with school-wide standards and objectives, and communicate effectively with parents and administration. The creation of a positive classroom environment where all students are supported to meet academic, character, and behavior expectations is key to a successful Saint Chris classroom.
Preferred applicants should be practicing Catholics, hold an appropriate New Hampshire teaching certification (or be eligible for certification through the state or the Diocese), and be ready to embrace our school mission of developing students who are confident, independent, lifelong learners, who lead by example, and who live their lives with integrity and concern for others. Applicants must embrace the mission of the school and provide students the opportunity to grow in their faith while instilling a love for learning.
All individuals who work with students will be required to complete Safe Haven Online Training as well as a criminal background check. Interested applicants must complete a Diocesan Teacher Application and forward it along with a letter of interest, resume, college transcripts, and 3 letters of reference to:
